Content Strategy: HughesNet
The goal of this project was to create a mobile and desktop cart for HughesNets' main Paid Search site. We wanted to give customers the option to purchase their Internet plan online, something that, prior to this project, was not an option for them.
To craft the online cart experience, I participated in a 3-day sprint process where I helped lead content strategy for the online ordering process. Afterwards, I crafted copy for both the desktop and mobile homepages and plans pages. I also worked on the UX microcopy for the entire cart flow and ordering process. At the time of the launch, we quickly reached our goal of 20% of customers ordering online, and saw huge lifts in response rates and conversion.
